Do you provide installation services?

Yes, we specialize in professional installation. Our experienced team ensures your gazebo or pavilion is assembled correctly and safely, with attention to detail and craftsmanship for lasting quality.

Do you offer custom sizes or designs?

Yes, we offer customization options to help you create a structure that fits your needs and complements your space. While we have a range of standard styles and sizes that provide a great starting point, we also offer the flexibility to adjust dimensions, finishes, and select features to suit your preferences better. Our goal is to strike the perfect balance between customization and the proven designs that
ensure structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and value.

How long does this process take?

Most projects take 6-25 weeks from when you initially order the structure to installation. During this time, we will send you status updates, advise you on site preparation, and schedule a day for installation. Once the structure is delivered, it usually takes our crews a single day to install it in your backyard.

Are your structures certified or compliant with industry standards?

Yes, our structures are designed to meet or exceed industry standards, but certification requirements can vary depending on your specific location and local regulations. We take pride in engineering our structures to withstand conditions across most of the contiguous United States, ensuring they are over-engineered for strength, durability, and safety.

Whether it’s wind loads, snow loads, or general structural integrity, our designs are crafted to exceed expectations. If certification is required in your area, we can work with you to ensure all necessary documentation and compliance needs are met for a seamless approval process.

Can I use my structure year-round?

Yes, our pavilions, pergolas, and gazebos are designed to be enjoyed throughout the year. If you're in a region with extreme weather, we offer additional options like reinforced structures or weatherproofing treatments to ensure your outdoor space remains safe and functional no matter the season.

Do I need permits?

Building codes and the permitting process can vary by state and community. We recommend checking with your local government to determine codes and laws that would apply to your structure. You will also need to apply for any permits that are required for your project. If you are working with a landscape contractor, they may be able to pull the permits on your behalf.

What site preparation is required before installation?

For most gazebos, common preparations include a concrete pad, concrete piers, or crushed stone base to ensure stability. We can provide recommendations tailored to your specific project. Additionally, in certain locations, we offer site preparation services to help ensure the area is ready for installation. Our team will guide you through the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and successful installation.

How can I stay updated on the progress of my project?

We provide regular updates throughout the project via communication channels, such as email updates, and project management software.

Are stamped engineer drawings required and if so, do you require them?

Un-stamped engineer drawings are available for most of our structures at no cost. For an additional charge, we can also provide engineer-stamped drawings of your specific structure.

You will need to check with your local municipality and see if they require un-stamped or stamped drawings for a permit. This depends largely on your municipality and their permitting conditions. Please check with your municipality and ask them what they need.

While it does depend on the engineer you use, we find that most people who use our engineered drawings save money - sometimes thousands of dollars.

The main reason for this is that we work with engineers who are familiar with the products we offer, allowing us to save our clients money through a good relationship with local engineers.

What is the installation and delivery process like?

We have our own installer who will install your custom backyard structure. They are fast, efficient, and will treat your property like it is their own.

For most gazebos, pergolas, and pavilions, delivery is done by a pickup truck and trailer. For larger timber-frame and custom structures, we may need to deliver with a semi-truck and trailer.

Most backyard structures take 1-2 days to assemble. This does not include site prep or pouring footers, which needs to be done before delivery & installation.

Some of our larger builds including timber-frame pavilions or custom structures – can take up to a week for installation.

Do you work with contractors or commercial clients?

Yes, we work well with landscapers, deck builders, and home remodeling contractors. We can provide a custom pergola, pavilion, or gazebo kit, or our team can install the structure for them. Oftentimes, our kits or assembled structures will be much cheaper – and be installed in a fraction of the time – than a contractor could do on their own. What is your warranty?

For our pergolas, pavilions, and gazebos we offer a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty for all of our structures.

For our timber frames we offer a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.
